The Treasure Valley Leather Slappers is a western riding club that was formed in the early 70’s by a small group of women who wanted to share an interest in horses and the excitement of fast paced drill team riding. Our members come from throughout the Treasure Valley. The primary purpose of the Leather Slappers is to promote good horsemanship, good friendship and fun. We perform in parades, rodeos and competitions throughout Southern Idaho, Oregon and Nevada. The Leather Slappers proudly wear the Red, White and Blue colors of the USA!
The Leather Slappers practice once or twice a week from the early spring until the fall and once every two weeks or so during the winter. We are currently looking for new members.
